Cheddar fielded a mixture of youth and experience in their match against North Somerset 2nds and for the first 15 minutes the match was evenly contested. Millie Stoyles then gave Cheddar the lead combining well with Immy Disbury on the left. Captain Julie Callow marshalled her young attackers and further goals were added by Lotte Perry and Millie to give a deserved half time 3-0 lead. With returning GK Julie Rogers in command of her defence North Somerset found few opportunities coming their way. Confidence grew throughout the team with debutant Lois Tarr showing great promise.Further goals looked inevitable but chances went missing until Julie Callow slipped a pass to player of the match Lotte Perry to add her 2nd. This was very much an excellent all round team performance and a much needed confidence boost. Next week the fixture is away to Old B's.
