Cheddar fought hard in defence against a strong Winscombe team but let in two short corners, finishing 3-0 in the first half. In the second half Cheddar raised their game pushing high with accurate passing, resulting in a long corner which gave Cheddar the opportunity to score. Centre mid Anna Athay made an incisive pass to Millie Norman in the D who slotted the ball in the goal. Great performances from joint players of the match came from Issy Baines playing centre mid for the first time and Millie Stoyles playing centre forward in her debut match for Cheddar seconds.
