A solid performance by Cheddar saw them get off to a great start with an early goal dug out from under the keeper by left back Siobhan Mullan and neatly finished by Vicki Bear. The young forward line of Millie Warren, Lauren Tait and Amber Cooknell kept very disciplined to pile the pressure on at the right times allowing plenty of attacking opportunities. Jack-of-all-trades Kirsie Sugg set up scoring opportunities for all three of them. Sterling work in midfield by Sarah Hind, Flora Cooknell, Dani Frost and Zoe Humber kept all but the most concerted attacks at bay. A clean sheet was kept by keeper Rachael Rousell, ably assisted by her powerful defenders, including Beth Gould and Ash Jones. A nice 4-0 win was just what the team needed to return to their winning ways of last season. Well done everyone!
